Who has experience for Dayton titanic MKII?
I want to build a pair of subwoofer. The box volume limited to 60-120 Liters. I searched Parts-Express Web to find 12" speaker unit for home audio, calculated the F3 ,Xmax one by one. Finaly I feel that "Dayton titanic MKII" may be the best one. But I did not found the measurement result for it's THD or diyers report. So I am wandering if the "Dayton titanic MKII" is the best.
Thanks.

I calculated 3 drivers mentioned above

Thanks for all.
After reading your reply, I calculated 3 drivers mentioned above by UniBox (Excel tool). But I did not find the "Adire Audio Shiva". The results display to "F3(Hz) - Level(db) at 20Hz" followed.
Example: "38 - 101" means "F3 is 38Hz and sound level is 101db at 20Hz".

Driver Type (1)NHT1259 (2)peerless XLS12 (3)Dayton TitanMKII (4) Audiocone. DV12
Fs(Hz) (1)19, 16.5 (2)18.1 (3)22 (4)17
Qts (1)0.46, 0.46 (2)0.199 (3)0.41 (4)0.44
SPLmax at Pn(db) (1)107,107 (2)112.6 (3)112 (4)109
closed 66LBox (1)30 - 98 ,28 - 98 (2)80 - 99 (3)38 - 101 (4)32 - 97

It seems that the NHT1259 is similar to TitanicMKII.
Could somebody induce me to have more THD data or compare the sound's quality.

It may be like the NHT 1259 when modeled ported. However, it would have a beefier cone, motor, surround, and basket. I have a friend down the hall in my dorm who has two Titanic MkII 12" as the bass section of his massive time-aligned (a la Wilson Audio) triamped high-fidelity speakers. The woofers blend quite well and respond quickly without mud. The sound is very clean and undistorted, but we haven't actually been able to push them hard (considering they are two 12" subs in a single 10x16 ft dorm room). The only trouble is that his fiberglass enclosure for the B+G Neo8 tweeter resonates, creating a sound like a TV speaker through those frequencies. He's going to redo that. The titanics sound good, for their part.

the mfk-projects.com guy says that the newest titanics dont match the peerless xls .

Pay a little more,go to a manufacturer that considers quality, essential, and get some nice sound :)

buy a shiva or titanic and have average sound, then later buy a higher quality transducer, and then wonder why you wasted your money on low quality stuff :)

You dont know what your missing til you hear better.
