Default Pairing 2 sub speakers to one amp

Ok, my Energy 12 inch 300W sub pooped. Keeps blowing fuse.
I just installed a Polk 505 12 inch powered sub and it works, but Energy had a much better sound.
Energy driver works. And it's a nice downfiring box.
Can I run energy driver paired with Polk one? If yes, how? What's the proper "splicing"?
Or, simply disconnect Polk driver and run extension to the Energy one? And use that one?
I sorta do not mind using both, ha ha.

Default Driver impedances?

Before you go hooking them up together you need to determine each driver's impedance; if they are both 8 ohm---great---you can run them in parallel. If both are 4 ohm you might want to run them in series unless your amp can handle 2 ohms.

If both are different I think you are out of luck; perhaps someone else might be able to help with other ideas.

Got it!
I can do that.
Polk I got is Ok but nowhere as good as that Energy one was. Will get on it after work. Thank you.
