Largest Subwoofer?

What is the largest known subwoofer?

I have heard of a 29" subwoofer but the largest I can tell is Ramsdale Audio 27" 103Db and FANE Colossus 24".

ElectroVoice has/had a 30" woofer. Fostex also has a 30".

The Parthenon has a 24" sqaure diaphragm - which has equivelent surface area to >27" dia. (121 dB SPL output at 20 Hz).

And our own DIY Parthenon thread suggests a potential 34" or dual 27" diaphragm to achieve 125 dB @ 20 Hz @ 1 meter.

The above poster is referring to a 34" Audiobahn sub. It is a car sub and handles 5000W. I always wanted to build a box for it and call it a coffee table for my room. Here is a link where you can buy one:

Of courde everyone knows that the largest Woofer is 6 feet and it's in the beginning of the movie "Back to the Future" . . .

I always wanted to hear a driver in action such as doc had in his lab in back to the future. (Marty strums a powerchord and blows himself across the room.)

Thats the closest thing Ive ever seen!
