Ok members, i need help ... i am surveying around some 3" ports for my 12" subwoofer project for home use (target f3 = 30Hz which was close to the Fs of the Driver) box will be about 60L (not inclusive of Driver and port) ...
As a result ... i came across these ... (1) Standard Flared Port (2) Dimpled Flared Port (3) Aeroport
What are the difference of these 3 ... ? Does the Dimpled flared port and Aeroport offers better performance (in terms of port noise handling / chuffing) compared to the standard ones? if yes the difference is significant or not? Assuming all of them have same length, flare radius and diameter. Each with sample photos
