New to the forum, hello to everyone.
Here's the problem I have. I had a IB sub setup at my old home and when I moved I uninstalled it. In my new home it isn't possible to have an IB setup. I still have 4 of these subs:
Dayton Audio IB385-8 15" Infinite Baffle Subwoofer
I hate them to got to waste so I was going to install them in following enclosure:
Knock-Down MDF 3.0 cu. ft. Subwoofer Cabinet for Dayton Audio DVC385-88 15" DVC Subwoofer
I know the performance will be far from optimal but my question is just how bad will it be.
I tried using some enclosure calculation software but it was all Greek to me.
Thanks to anyone who responds,
Pat

Hi Fred,
In one Box/ One Driver and by using an EQ(-2.5 dB;Q=1 at ~37 Hz):
Gives a flat FR with an f-3dB at ~25 Hz.

It's good. You might even omit the EQ, the in room response will have greater variations anyway.
Another option would be to use these woofers in a dipole subwoofer. But then you will have to do measurements and apply EQ. Example: Neighbor friendly dipole sub
