Default Help fixing a sub, step 1, mounting holes

Hi everyone. i've been lurking for some time, but i'm finally starting to actually do something and i already need help.

I have a beautiful custom made sealed sub that died... it has a SA250 amp and a dead 10in titanic mk3

While researching on what to replace the dead driver with, i can find lots of info here about frequency, and what's good match for the enclosure etc... but i now realized I'm stuck with the basic.

Mounting holes.

from the pictures of the ones i'm thinking to buy, they all seem to have different holes than the one that is in the enclosure right now.

i mean, most have the same 8 mounting holes. but a few have 6. and some have 6 or 4 and a cut on the top and bottom.

then, even the ones that have the same 8 holes, the specs say different center of screw to center of screw diameter. e.g. mine was measured to exact 260mm. but my first replacement choice says that diameter is 268mm or 254mm. will that make a difference? i guess 5~10mm difference should be fine, or do I have to find a exact match? the enclusure has nice t-nuts that i doubt will move much...

thanks!
