I have an old Infinity RS powered sub that the foam surround has rotted out. I am currently awaiting a refoam kit but was exploring my options. I contacted Infinity who told me that the driver is no longer available, not surprising it is 15 years old, and neither are any of the substitute drivers they have used in the past. It seems that this 10" woofer is 2 ohms, w/ high sensitivity. Any ideas where to find a replacement now? Should I just give up? I have contacted Infinity again to see if i can get some specs for the original driver and the amplifier in the sub. I hope this may shed some light on a possible replacement driver. I will be upgrading speakers soon, but would love to reuse the sub in another room. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks!
