1) Introduction / concept
The concept of this subwoofer was born in late 2012. The main assumption of the design was to create a subwoofer to electronic music, and movies where I could obtain any sound pressure without any symptoms audio compression. The ideal solution that meets my requirements was the construction proposed by B&C called "B&C SUB 15". Box was designed for BR-conception, 115 liters capacity tuned to the frequency of 45Hz. This project is quite simple and capable to be administered for the wide-applications of the 15" B&C speakers and not only (I mean the 15" speakers, which Qts = 0.3 + -0.1). I performed a series of simulations of the project which showed below.

2) Description
a) box
The housing was made from 19mm MDF. Box has been built using the mounting screws and glue "Pattex". Inside the enclosure are made ​​of strips of strengthening, dimensions 5x5cm. The next step was to smooth the edges of the tunnel to prevent potential distortions, disorders, etc. arising out of exhaust air. The interior of the enclosure is not damped, because of I would like to effective use of the possibilities of the speaker. The last step was putting the enclosure to the plant upholstery.
b) speaker
The choice of the speaker B&C 15PLB76 mainly decided very good ratio between Bl/MMS (induction in the gap, which can be interpreted as the force relative to the weight of the moving system).

3) Simulation result

Simulations have confirmed the thesis of high overload power stage of the speaker. It can be noted, that the full power of the speaker is now available from 45Hz. Simulations were performed for the input power of 300W for the speaker. It can be seen linear excursion range of the work (0-Xmax, lov distortions). For the full power of 400W excursion of the membrane is slightly above the linear range of operation of the speaker.

4) Summary impression of listening, conclusions.
Well ... Incredible strength, what is my first impression. When the power is close to the maximum of the speaker, pressure level is so high that a man is afraid that at any moment something happens - amplifier drives the speaker with any problems. The quality of the bass, it can be say "average" - I am writing this opinnion in relation to other construction've OB-based B&C 18PS76. Overall I'm very satisfied.
