wsin jaycar the other day and was ooking at the 12" version of the XL seres and it looked like a real beast, i pushed on the cone and it really moved a decent way, anyway my suggestionis to get the 12" version and get a plate amp from wes components, they sell a 200w for but 250, it just doesnt have binding posts but i think the drop in price is well worth that sacrifice.

If you want to save some money these amp are always for sale on ebay (I picked up a 350W for $260 plus $30 P/H).

Or, if you have an ABN get your hands on an Electus Distribution wholesale catalogue http://www1.electusdistribution.com.au/ These are the guys that supply Jaycar and they sell the 150W for $178, 240W for $230 and the 350W for $290 (plus GST)

Hope this help
Jye

I uses the ABN of a sign making business (no link to speaker that I can see). As for tax never had a problem. You can also get wholesale prices from Wes.

Cheers

You can use anyones ABN . even someone you know or work with . the only way to get a ABN is from the tax office

just remember the wes amps are 4 ohmns only

if you can get a trade price with wes you might be able to get a peerless driiver instead
