Do no know about the rest of the world, but I know some shops charge 2.5x the in cost on the selling product, so assuming the shop pays 520$ for the damn stuff, double the price to 1040$ and add sales tax (25% here) we get 1300. Make the number "pretty" by deducting 1-5$ to sell maybe a few more units.
If you have to build it yourself, maybe go down to 250$ which is under half what my fantasy BOSE charges.
What is the best setup you can make, that anyone can make, must be EASY, for 250$ (including all shipping) that takes up no more than 5L per speaker (internal volume) 40L sub (also internal volume, that is, without the outer walls! Folds take space and weight) ("big" size" just to make it easy). Also need active filters and pre + power stages. Everything except wire.
I am often trying to explain something and I find my vocabulary lacking. I cannot explain it in language, yet frequently have clear ideas of some specific slice of knowledge I want to share. I hope this forum eventually will have the option to post thoughts.
