I have Lambda TD-15x woofers in 4 cu ft sealed cabs for my woofers. A friend of mine is making up Linkwiz transforms so they will go solid down to 25hz. They would then cross over to my tractrix horns at 700hz. SOOOO, if I have two real subs in the back of the room, do I set up the room like I have 4 subs???
If they have to be in the back, put them at 1/4 and 3/4 of the back wall.
In REW there's a handy simulation program to put listener and subs in a specific rectangular room and see the predicted frequency curve.
The height is even independently adjustable too.
If you have a measuring microphone; even better.

I may well have read that wrong, but I thought the LF factor was normalised based on the number of subwoofers - so in effect it's showing that the output per subwoofer was effectively reduced - rather than than actually having a lower total in room SPL?
