Default Newbie needs help with a manual/tutorial on DSP use

Hello All

I am using the AllDSP 'AllControl' program. I believe my module is the AllDSP 1800.

I can't find a manual on what all the buttons on the control panel do.

I am 52, and a slow learner (too much red wine).

Help!!!.

1) How do I eq. the lowest octaves?.

2) If my woofers are side firing, and my mids and tweeters are 1st order x-over, what should a starting point be for 'phase'? on the 15" woofers.

1) By ear, or with a measurement system.

2) To find actual "phase" requires a measurement system.
The starting point for aligning the phase between the mids and the woofers would be having them both "pushing" in the same polarity, that is, positive voltage to the positive terminal makes the cones go away (out) from the cabinet front.
Polarity can be easily determined with a battery touching the speaker wire.

Thank you welter.

I found out that;

1) In the control panel, go to 'out1, than out 2' and choose "low shelf" and adjust. I do have a measuring system.

2) For phase, measure, adjust, measure, adjust, and more M & A.
