Ain't no sub, if you ask me. But perhaps decent enough as a woofer.

Transmission line would be my choice.

One 8" car woofer for a HT probably won't float your boat for HT. (how many do you have?)

Sealed looks the best choice, but the woofer may just be a one note thumper no mater what you do.
