Default Klipsch RW10D keeps blowing fuses

I have a Klipsch RW10D that keeps blowing fuses when I try to power up and I am looking for suggestions on what component(s) I should replace.

Would have to see the circuit really, but favourite (if it uses one) would be a monolithic output chip such as an LM3886 that has failed.

As always a few detailed and careful measurents will reveal the trouble... all the evidence will be there

Thanks Mooly for your reply to my woes. I am a newbie at this and do not posses the equipment to test the components. I am looking to find a suggestion for a component assembly that I may acquire to remedy my malady.

You would have to open it up and see what type of output stage it uses. Probably a "chip", and something like the LM3886 as mentioned. There won't be any "assembly" you can just swap. Its a case of unsoldering and removing the faulty part/s and replacing with new.

If you have a multimeter and can identify the basic parts in the unit then we might have a chance

You have to be confident using a meter and in your soldering abilities.

Default Bash amplifier?

I think that particular model uses a Bash amplifier... very hard (if not impossible) to get schematics for it... sorry...

Do you know if a replacement for the bash is readily available and would the unit be identified if I open the cabinet?
