Default device to protect subs at speaker level

Ok, i saw this just now, but apparently someone had posted in another section of DIY forum on 02/12 and nobody chimed in
and this was posted on June 2011
http://www.fohonline.com/home/72-pro...rotection.html

I am talking about this
D-fend? Loudspeaker Protection Technology | Eminence Speaker

these guys uses MOSFET transistor to do some kind of PWM
it is microprocessor controlled and power itself from the speaker voltage

looks very good, i dont know how much it cost or if eminence can sold to end users

Max.
