well, the rest is simpler
maybe two more days

you do understand the drawing ?
and know how to do it, so far ?

oh, btw, your power amp...where ....?
probably best to put it in a seperate box
you can still place it on the outside backpanel
but if you want it, we could make a small closed room for it

Thanks Ill have the amp in a seperate box,
Its classAB so its heatsinks are bigger, so Im busy making an enclosure for the subamp and my stereo amplifiers, the modules are already made, and transformers bought, Just the metal work to do.

Ill set the Iq lower depending if its audible, to make it run cooler

Interesting bracing scheme

Interesting idea of using external bracing, and the bracing being used to form ports.
Are the spaces between the top and bottom braces included in the internal volume of the box?
It is hard to tell from the drawing.
.
Just wondering if the passages that would exist, if they are included in internal volume, have a resonance that could be excited to create higher harmonic resonances.
The resonance would probably be very high compared to the passband of a sub, but I wonder if they could create single note "ting".

If they are included in internal volume, or even if not included, maybe some stuffing would benefit the performance in several ways.

If they are included in internal volume....(edit)...... maybe some stuffing would benefit the performance in several ways.

yes, stuffing also ;)
might consider them like volume buffers, when it gets tough :scratch2:
or since they are between the ports(left to right), maybe they could even do some form of symmetric port balancing
but its probably rubbish, I dont know :D

working on measurements
maybe later today

changed to 6 ports instead of 4
results in more available volume
also makes it easier to assemble

now measurements and cutting plan

shoot, forgot bracing on back panel :faint:

if you want to have the woofer countersunk, it could be done by adding another front baffle ?

tricky, but here it is, more or less

still checking for errors
small adjustments to make it all fit when assembling
width measurements shows to be especially tricky due to the Onken style porting
but its close now :)
