When i load the t/s parameters inot WinsISD it gives efficiency to 86.4 db whereas the specs above claims 91 db ?? and its giving vented design suggestion wheres sealed encloure is 0.5 Cuft for maximally flat design with Fb of 53Hz !!
The plan is to use a pair of these ,each wired in series on JBL MPX amp with 1600W W per channel and parametric equalization around 25Hz using behringer FBD.
With low Fs of 23.4 Hz , the target is HT with low box volume and hence sealed design with lots of power ???
Any suggestions ??

Dear chris the sub is required below 50Hz. I have this amplifier sort of copy of JBL. IT has a massive toroid is suspect around 3KVA. with 54 total ouput devices, i dont have manual but i expect it to deliver somewhere around 1600W into 2Ohm. So for DVC woofer i will have 3000W of power.
Any ideas how much volume will be good for maximally flat QTc 0.75 or lower for low end extension.???Whts your current setup.

I'm currently playing around with a single JBL GTO1214 - it will go into a 100L ported cabinet, tuned to 20Hz nicely.
The problem is that the port must be more than 10cm diameter, and two 10cm diameter ports must be more than 1m long each to get 20Hz tuning. Fitting these ports inside the cabinet will be difficult - I may just go for a single 10cm port and see if it works okay.
That amplifier looks like a PA amp. Not sure if it'll drive 2ohm safely, but it would appear to have some protection built in.
I'd try wiring up for higher impedance (=easier time for the amplifier), and see if you have enough power available.
For cabinet volume, some people on here aim for Qtc = 0.5 for their subs, as the rolloff tends to match up with room gain better, so you get smoother bass response in-room.
