Hi,
Planning my first build, two sealed 12" subs and have a beginners question: Will going up in cabinet size, while extending low end response, give a worse time response? Like a smeard impulse/decay? |

Unless the speakers are a long way apart you shouldn't get any phasing of the sound.
Usually the bigger the cabinet the better.

Model it using WinISD or some other program.
After some experimenting with volume and tuning (if ported) then you will be able to determine if going bigger works with the speaker you have chosen. Learn well.
