I am having some trouble designing a subwoofer box (preferably ported and tuned to around 28-34Hz).
My two options for subwoofers are:
Peerless 830842 10" XXLS around AU$230 (incl shipping)
Dayton Audio RSS265HF-4 10" around AU$240 (inc shipping)
I was going to power these with the Yung 300SD amp. I would like an accurate bass with a little bit of a boost. Also my room dimensions are approx 8m x 4m x 2.4 high.
I have been doing some experimenting with WinSD and the dayton sub puts out nice response.
Any advice or opinions greatly appreciated.
