Ever have mic feedback?

what you think about this thing
PFMOD HP-Sub

Well it is definitely cheaper, but now that I think about it for live sound there is a utility piece you need anyway... The FBQ100 or one of the more expensive versions. I don't think any of the amps with DSP have this feedback eliminator technology yet. You could always go simple on the amps and get a DriveRack between the amps and mixer.

yeah :(

so THAM15 or SS15 jbell
also i want to use those light neodymium magnets that are super light
i dont mind to sacrifice a couple of db's
also i want to use 12mm wood with braces instead of 18mm without
have read that 12mm with braces is same efficient as 18mm but without the added weight

I was just going to say that you could do better for $129:

http://www.amazon.com/JBL-GT5-15-15-Inch-Single-Voice-Coil-Subwoofer/dp/B003KN2TMG
http://static.highspeedbackbone.net/pdf/JBL GT5-15 Subwoofer Data.pdf

Find some free wood, etc......

The JBL recommended enclosure in the PDF I linked to.
\ohhh i c them now
hey , i liked the ported design, can we got something more "loud"
that driver only gets up to 95db's at the highest wattage of the driver

but i think if we want more db's out we need a bigger power driver and a folded horn box, mmmm
can we get a poor man's SS15 ?
using 1/2 wood and some lest costly driver than the 299 bucks ones they are using
maybe a 120 bucks driver

and if i want to make the JBL ported box, i will need to hit the inside volume right ? doesnt matter if it is a cube or a rectangle shaped box, as long as i follow up the volume spec and the port size and lenght of the tube
