hey , i liked the ported design, can we got something more "loud" that driver only gets up to 95db's at the highest wattage of the driver but i think if we want more db's out we need a bigger power driver and a folded horn box, mmmm can we get a poor man's SS15 ? using 1/2 wood and some lest costly driver than the 299 bucks ones they are using maybe a 120 bucks driver and if i want to make the JBL ported box, i will need to hit the inside volume right ? doesnt matter if it is a cube or a rectangle shaped box, as long as i follow up the volume spec and the port size and lenght of the tube Last edited by maxo; 26th September 2012 at 08:00 PM. |

Don't deviate from the SS15 plans or driver selection. If you do it right it'll be worth the effort/$$$.

Eminence Kappalite 3015LF Neo 15" Driver will work but the lightness is gonna cost you ~$100...
