35hz or so is a pretty good compromise for live sound extension
There are tons of drivers to choose from and if you want a simple Bass Reflex box there are plenty of easy to use programs to design a cabinet around the driver you choose.
Many manufacturers actually have box recommendations that they provide for each specific subwoofer. For simplicity you might just want to go off of their plans.
Also what kind of music for live sound? You might not even need the 35Hz extension unless it's EDM...
