Hi all, i was given a set of simple single speaker 15" bins by a friend and was wondering if there was anything i could do to enhance them.. (install a tweeter, add more circuitry maybe, etc...) Im a total noob when it comes to building or modifying speakers but im alright with a soilder gun & jigsaw :D.
I do a bit of mobile djing/outdoor parties and have other better speakers but thought what the heck if i could do something to boost these then its worth a shot.

donno if this is any good but heres the drivers specs..

cheers for any advice in advance..

The ports are tiny but so is the x-max of the driver at 1.5mm
The ports could be modified and retuned to your preference for maybe less distortion and chuffing, but the speaker is likely to run out of excursion at fairly low power levels.:(
They might be better with the ports sealed up. At least you might be able to run them cleanly at a higher power level.:)
