At first hand:I never sub-optimize speakers by chasing SPL or Power, actually in my world all other parameters involved comes first as being more important.

SPL and Power is simple: Just add more speakers...

They appear to be the lengths of panels and distances between panels

Hi,soundhead,

Admit this is confusing. All numbers are in 1/16" notation ,i.e. 110/!6 is = decimal equivalent to 6.875" or 6.875 x 2.54= ~17.5 cm

No danger to round up your built numbers an 1/8" off or even 1/4" wont be noticeable affecting the final performance.

Bjorno so the middle piece of wood that the speaker hole is cut out of is 37.25 inches long. Correct.
Time to chop up some plywood.
Thanks

Best
