At first hand:I never sub-optimize speakers by chasing SPL or Power,actually in my world all other parameters involved comes first as being more important.
SPL and Power is simple: Just add more speakers...

Hi,soundhead,
Admit this is confusing. All numbers are in 1/16" notation ,i.e. 110/!6 is = decimal equivalent to 6.875" or 6.875 x 2.54= ~17.5 cm
No danger to round up your built numbers an 1/8" off or even 1/4" wont be noticeable affecting the final performance.

Bjorno so the middle piece of wood that the speaker hole is cut out of is 37.25 inches long. Correct.
