Maplin Sub-Woofer Project

While I was helping out in another thread I found this old article for the Maplin Hi-Fi SubWoofer project.

It's ideal for those of you that like low cost complete projects even though the B200 is difficult to come by these days.

This used two x 150W Modules as discussed above in Bridged Mode to produce 400W.

If I do not have the 75 w mosfet amp, can I use different amp to use this bridge system? It is need a kind of ajustment at bridge unit?

This is just a generic Bridging Unit, it will work with most mono amplifier modules, as long as thet are not already bridged.

The adjustments are discussed in the article, they are to adjust the protection threshold.

In essence you only need the lower half of the circuit diagram for it to work as a Bridging Unit.

Maplin 400W Bridging Module Project.

I think this might have a few people interested in such a simple project to get more power for little outlay.
