Sounds very tight, picks up so much more frequencies than I thought or hoped it too. I'm running a Class T blaupunkt 400 watts RMS 500 watts or so peak. The woofers love it. The setup is able to RMS over 1000 watts but dont need too at all. I will be redesigning box to a flat back instead of slant. Better loading.

looks neat, though I think there are better buyout drivers for the money....
3 of these: 10" Ribbed Paper Cone Woofer Speaker 299-284
...Would cost less, have more displacement, higher maximum output, and lower distortion.
Though I realise this is more a statement than a SQ or SPL competition rig.

Really?
Cone area of 16 x 5.25" drivers-say the piston diameter is 5"= 314sq inches
Cone area of 3 x 10" drivers-link says piston diameter is 9.25"= 201.5sq inches
The drivers you linked to have 4mm Xmax, I'd imagine that the 5.25" are around the same if not a little more, either way the 3x 10" would require just over 50% more excursion to make up for their lack in cone area and have a power handlng of 30wrms along with a huge VAS-ideal box volume for 3 of those is going to be around 8.5cf!
I once had an idea to stuff a bunch of 6x9's into a big box,to get maximum cone area...but I never really liked 6x9's much,it seems like the wider 'ends' (the 9 inch part) are too 'floppy',and destined to cone breakup and other nasties..So the idea kinda died. I guess with that much area, you wouldn't really need much excursion though. Hmm.
