Hi djlivex,

yes you can build TH_1819 with 15mm Marine plywood and I have simulated some different Faital 18-inch and also Faital 15-inch drivers and results were great to go down to 25Hz +/- 3dB outdoors, so indoors the results will be even much better.

Great! Which 15" Faital (18" Faital expensive) I'll be happy with 30Hz outdoors, what's the average SPL 30-100Hz? I plan on 4 subs initially. Just curious! Thanks!

Look at US Speakers for Faital 15FH500 and 18FH500, with average SPL 98dB 30-100Hz outdoors.

Faital 15FH500 is great if you want low you loose on high SPL, cant have boath at 2,0 Pi (outdoors) 2,83V @ 1m; 20Hz-88,68dB; 25Hz-94,45dB; 30Hz-96,99dB at 0,5 Pi (corner indoors) 2,83V @ 1m; 20Hz-101,51dB; 25Hz-107,0dB, 30Hz-108,7dB which are very good results.

Would 4 per side 15FH500 or 18FH500 achieve 105 average +/- 3dB out doors or no can do? I like the simplicity in the build but indoors looks very nice, I maybe asking too much!

Yes 105dB is the minimum for 4 per side which can achieve out doors, if they are colocated up to 110dB. Site for SPL calculation.

That's great when I finish my current project I will start on these. I am currently building a small 3 way with subs for up to 300 venues dance system. I have been looking around for a nice Tapped Horn to build on here including the Xoc or 35Hz Tapped Horn but this cuts the cake for low output, this may shake my furniture out of my house! LOL

Hi ZivkoF, what tops are those you have pictures in previous post? Are they DIY and what HF horn you're using, driver just curious. Will you be using this as 3-way for PA use and/or playback? Thanks!
