subwoofer for JLH amp?

I wanted to add an active subwoofer for my JLH 96 class A build. I built some opamp mixer amps with inputs paralelled to JLH inputs or outputs (better).
I then thought why not use a spare stereo amp connected in the same way and paralleled to a passive subwoofer (diag),allowing mixing and more power delivery.
I found it better to take input from the JLH output to avoid "loading" the JLH inputs.
If your subwoofer has left and right channel transducer coils, you won't need to parallel the output.
I figured at low audio frequencies,a class AB amp would give the punch and crossover distortion would not be audible.
Whatever the amp configuration, I would use an output capacitor if paralleling.
Anybody see a snag or have a better way?
