Hello -
A friend of mine wants a subwoofer for Quad ESL63s which he is running off a Quad 22/II setup. I'd like to recommend to him something built and available in the UK. I don't know his exact budget but I'd assume a couple of hundred pounds, maybe a bit more depending. Does not need to be new - recommendations for stuff liable to turn up on ebay are very welcome. All ideas very welcome. He can pick up London area of anywhere between Bath and London. Andy |

Well considering that this is diyaudio would either you or him be willing to do a build?
If so I would suggest a transmission line, I'm not familiar with commercial TLs but I would bet that they would be pretty far out of his budget if he wasn't building it himself I know that most people prefer to pair an ESL with TLs because they can sound good enough to not be totally upstaged by the panels |

Hi -
Yes, I know this is DIY!! I've built speaker cabinets in the past but not this time - looking for a ready made option! Any ideas for something in the UK would be very welcome. andy |
