Anyone tried the MCM 21" cast woofer yet?

I keep eyeing the MCM 21" cast woofer. The specs look tempting. Interesting, though when I enter the data into WinISD, the curve is identical to the 55-2984 cast 18 woofer. with a xmax of 7mm and a vas of 705 litres, I expected a different result. Any input

I have tested several other MCM drivers and with the exception of the 55-2421 they were all quite a bit off. Generally speaking the motor force is quite low causing a major problem with Q values and sensitivity. You get what you pay for.

Greetings kegent01. I eyed this thing as well. That's why I'm in the closing stages of building a tapped horn for mine. nothing fancy, just wanted to try it. Should be ready to test by Wednesday. I'll keep you posted.

After using the 18lw2400 in my TH-18's id love to try out a cabinet designed around the 21 incher!!
