Earl Geddes warns against High Order Modes (HOM ) in horns.
I designed my horn using Hornresp. Instead of use a the Hornresp square section I used a rectangular one (equal area of course, see atachment aspect ratio.png). For instance I get 105.8cm2 with a 20.6x5.1cm2 instead a square with side 10.2cm Do you think using un aspect ratio different than one could bring some trouble, may be HOM generation? |
