Oh man, I must build this. I have a pile of 3/4 inch MDF sitting around. I have to conver neo's cutsheet to 3/4 and I am set.

So much for a smaller sub...I can't resist the horn!

Permo,

It's not a horn and do not rely on any normal horn calculations!!

Hi bjorno,

Would you, please, expand a little on the difference. I would find that very helpful.

Regards,

Regards,

I agree. I do understand that the it is a 1/4 wavelength pipe and not a true tapped horn.

Hornresp is not aware of the effect of the stuffing to be used in the T-TQWT and so cannot accurately simulate it. It appears that b has to manually process loads of data outside of the MJK worksheets to account for all the variables included in his efforts.

I haven't put "the pedal to the metal" yet on one of his other designs, but I built it to spec and did a very light sound test and it sounded great. I will be putting the finishing touches on the other T-TQWT project within the next week or two and I am really looking forward to starting this smaller one!

I don't want to hijack your thread, but the pics and design of another bjorno design are in this thread. It's a large subwoofer, it's going to create some serious spl in my primary home theater.
