Hi guys, i have 1 driver at home, was used in my car in the past, now i was thinking abt use it for subwoofer for the HT that i will build in a few weeks.
Driver are MM2124 Car Subwoofer from Polk Audio was looking for some other sub to purchase in argentina and i was not lucky to get good price, just found this http://www.rockfordfosgate.com/rftec...12_revA-TS.pdf Wich will be better for HT? |

See how they sim in the Kranken 112....from the "build your own 2x12 tapped horn" thread...
that is, if you have room for a large subwoofer... |

Both of those drivers appear to be very similar on paper. I don't know that one is really better than the other. If you are set on using one or the other to built your home sub then just pick the one you think looks better and enjoy.

With a folded-tapped horn transflex-style sub you will obtain the cleanest bass even at high power levels. If you want a fast bass you have to choose low Qts (something below 0.4)
