I have been wondering...hope you guys can help.
Open Baffle 12" subs set in a H frame.....Instead,could you use a 16" piece of heavy duty PVC pipe with the woofer placed in the center fastened to a wood (or whatever) type of ring? This would leave about 2" around the woofer to the pipe. Would this work? Could you stack 2 of them on top of each other? Problems with this would be....? Thanks

Yes, it would work. I'm pretty sure that the dipole peak will be somewhat stronger/bigger with this type of frame, compared to a more traditional rectangular frame.
What length of pipe would you be using ?
