Sundown Audio vs DC audio subs

Which should I get. The local DC dealership wants $195 for 12's and $180 for 10's but I can get a Sundown audio off of ebay for $154.

Here's another question:

The max box dimension I can get is 33" x 13.5" x 26". What should I get 10's or 12's. I ran 10s mostly in this car...no complaints besides my trunk lock blowing off.

Diyma.com. Check it out the guys over there seem to like sundown for price/performance ratio. I've never used or heard sundown personally.

The SA-12 was Klippel'd - see message thread here: DIYMA.com - Scientific Car Audio - Truth in Sound Quality. Looks like a good driver.

I haven't seen any tests of the DC audio drivers.

Yeah funny thing is that the SA-12 is cheaper it seems.

the SA's are usually the same prices as the DC 3's +/- a few bucks. SSA has the Sundown SA12's on sale for $155 ea.

Hey man, those specs are for the dual 2 ohm vc subs..here are the given specs for the dual 4's:
T/S D4:
RE: 7.09 ohms (D4 in series)
Fs: 28.4 Hz
Qes: 0.511
Qms: 5.75
Qts: 0.469
Vas: 40.3 L
BL: 25.04 NA
Le: 7.7 mH
Mms: 252 g
BL^2 / RE: 88
600 watts RMS

I can work up a vented box using some old programs I have...but I would want you to reconfirm mine with some of the other members here to double check my work cause I have not done one in a couple of years.
