Honestly I'd stick with the Audiobahns until the VC does let go-how did they check it to see it has problems?

They took it.out.of the box...which I didnt want to do and the said it was making a small crackin sound

Id rather sell them before it does. The deep bass on the subs....is awesome...but I want 12" subs now.

How was it making a small cracking sound? When cone pushed in? When playing?

Yeah when the dB went past -2 the right subs will start making a noise that sounded like a lose screw rattling...but it is not noticable until you open the trunk

It only does it when the dB on my car stereo is at -2...-4 dB and lower it doesn't make the noise at all.

OK-where does the noise come from? are you 100% it's the subwoofer? Not looase cable in the enclosure interfering? or anything else?

I honestly don't know..they said it was the voice coil..so I just believed them...Taking my sub out of my box...is a ..pain...and the wires are very short to increase the bass in them...so..it's really hard =( but I suppose I can check them tomorrow. The funny thing is...when I push my sub against the box while it's playing, some noise gets eliminated. I might just make a youtube video to show you...it's too complicating.

When you push the cone while it's playing? Sounds like the VC former detaching from the cone-can be glued back if accessible.

If when you push the frame of the cone to the box and the noise is eliminated it's almost certainly your box-or a loosely mounted trim ring.
