It's done! Well almost...
I just finished my subwoofer in a floorstander ordeal. Although I am still waiting for the crossover, they sound like a good upgrade. The floor is shaking at relatively low volume, and I can feel it in my gut. It isn't boxy or boomy, and seems to merge quite well. I can still tell there is some mid-range coming from it, hopefully it should go when I add the inductor.
The best bit is that I would pay more for a dedicated single-driver sub. I can't beleive how much was missing before.
