Sub woofer Speculation:
Lets say you two drivers centered on the rear wall of your listening room 12' wide x 9' high separated by about 4.5' from each other, 3.75' from the side walls and 4.5' from the floor and ceiling. The Left driver back wave would fire into a v shaped horn with its output going to the left hand upper and lower corners of the rear wall, the right back wave would fire into a v shaped horn with its output going to the right hand upper and lower corners of the rear wall. The front wave would come directly from the drivers firing directly into the room. The horns in effect would parallel the rear wall thus having a large folded horn (the 4 corners of the rear wall outputting to the rest of the room with minimum space intrusion from the horns themselves ) with the whole rear wall equally pressurized. The input into the drivers would be equalized to flatten response, I have no idea what the math would be, Would this work? |

How about 4 drivers, one in each corner, each firing into 1/8 space? Or lines of woofers stacked floor to ceiling in each corner? How about a klipschorn in each corner? Perhaps a 4-stack of Labhorns on that wall?

So a BLH corner horn with the front waves close enough to couple at the frequencies of interest? Sounds plausible. Not all drivers lend themselves to this format though.
