Default Hi,

I did some rechecking and your right some are off ,by as much as 15mm,But I'm old I work by myself ,It's not perfect but I think close will do,I am not a cabinet maker,I don't have fine equipment, most of it is 20 years old or older,I should have done better ,but I tried,I did my best, so it's ok with me! I got another one to build maybe I have learned enough to do a better job next time!
So wish me luck!
Have a GREAT day I am!

The joinery looks OK, and as long as the adhesive is cured you should be OK. What did you use for construction goo?

added:
You got any BMF subs?

We will see tomorrow, I wonder how long it will take to break that woofer in,any Ideas?
Thanks !

Depends on how much power you give it.
If you run a speaker to Xmax with a sine wave at Fs open air for a couple hours it should be "broken in", start a few mm below Xmax in anticipation of the suspension loosing up, don't want to hit Xlim in the process.

Since the cabinet is already built, just run AC/DC "Hell's Bells" through it full tilt boogie and it will be broken in.

Hi noSmoking,

As NEO Dan says: "...you should be OK...."

Just thought the dimensions didn't quite look correct, and wanted to give you a heads up. The pictures of the throat area look interesting. I'm looking forward to hear your description of what they sound like.

Regards,

As you say, don't smoke the voice coil.

The foam looks good, I don't think it is done expanding - never "trap" that stuff, it could lift a car (from pressure).

Hi ODougbo,
It was set before I closed it up,Just checked the panel and thier fine, the pl is still soft in some spots so it's going to sit until it hard,Cool and raining here today, but we need rain here bad,so
The next thing is some WHEELS this is getting heavy and will be more than I can lift when the speaker goes in,lol thinking about doubling the bottom panel ot at least some large pieces for the casters to mount on,
Time to build the voltage probe for ARTA,,,,,,
