Default Faulty Volume Pot on MSW20 Sub

I have a Mordaunt Short MSW20 with a faulty volume pot - doesn't work for first 33% of travel and crackly. Application of contact cleaner has helped and the unit is working but the pot really needs replacing but I'm struggling to get the back panel off. It won't budge despite removing all bar the four screws around the manufacturer's legend which don't seem to unscrew at all (as if the threads are stripped).
I'm loath to force it in case I cause further damage.

Would anyone have a service manual for this thing or know how to remove the back panel?
Any advice gratefully received.
