it will be unpredictable, but nothing what a DMM and a bit of effort can not sort out.
search a bit around, you will find how to mesure the tuned freqvency once the box is done and speaker is installed, then you can make your changes to alter the tuning (cut the lenght a bit, re-mesure, and repeat until its good). any wierdoo formation can be used, it just takes more time and effort. not sure about rezonances in a setup such as that, but i would figure it does not realy count in this case. |

That port is probably big enough that you won't have issues with chuffing

its 280mm diameter, 616cm^ for four 12inch subs.
4th order bandpass. but now I've realised that in my intended box design, the port only needs to be 9.8cm long... |
