Ok, I've been staring at this for a while now, it would appear that the volume is a little more than half of what the old one is, but the length is about the same? Am I thinking about this correctly?
Also, since this one will be thinner, would it be bad if I folded it around itself to keep it stable? (pic, dimensions wrong, just idea) |

Yes the length is same but the CSA:s are halved when using only one driver. It's a good idea to fold like you did especially for subs that are to be placed laterally in a room....looks better and not that conspicuous compared to a large main sub. b
