My Very First Box

I have recently finished my very first build! yay! i know its not very good,
i didnt even get enough fabric to cover the back.... lol. but i look to improve
myself in any way i can, im only 17 and have my whole life to get better.
It is a transmission line subwoofer. I have posted a link to a series of
photographs of the finished product. it is for a senior project. i have to do a
demonstration of what it is meant to do. im sure my
C-NET lab instructor will be thrilled when i rattle the judges desk at the
presentation. feedback plz!

I had assistance. No doubt. But I did the majority of the build. I would have
gladly taken on the challenge solo if i had more time. I blame myself for
choosing such a large project with only a week to build it. :O Wish me luck, I
present on tuesday.

P.S. any school appropriate bass song suggestions, may be anything from rap,
techno, organ music, classical, would be much appreciated. anything that is
a good demonstration.

classic song, i will honestly consider it for the sake of seeing the judges face, and it would be a great "GOODBYE SCHOOL". to get to blast that song inside a school building in a 6foot box. you sir, are good.

Two classics from the rock era that have very extended LF sections:
- Lucky Man (Emerson, Lake and Palmer)
- Radar Love (Golden Earring)

Try to get the FLAC version of them, much better than the compressed MP3/MP4 versions.

Thats quite a hefty box.

I remember my first 4 by 12 cabinet. Got it built then realised it wouldnt fit in the car !
So had to split it into 2 cabinets of 2 by 12 .

Wow, that box is huge. What driver is that? I think I managed to get my latest 4 by 12 in something that size.

the driver ended up being some 8" subs from an old movie theater. i like them. i would have loved to fit my twin 12" rockford fosgate subs in it, but with it only being 6x2x2 and being a dual channel transmission line, those wouldnt fit.
