Has anyone used the drivers from FRC soundworks...
Heard that they make the Blueprint 01 series and the parts for the blueprint 03 series but I'm interested in the other drivers they make. Can someone provide some feedback about this company and their drivers? |

Gum:
Here is an Email address I got off their website: scott@frcsound.com <scott@frcsound.com> Here is their website, which is under construction: http://www.frcsound.com/ They might have some literature they can send you, in addition to answering specific questions. http://www.teresaudio.com/haven/subs/subs.html Whether you go T-Line or not, his method of making a tube style sub stand upright can be used for any kind of enclosure. Good luck. |

Thought I would add that this transmission line project is based on a design where the port output is NOT significant. The line just tunes the speaker. Essentially, it is supposed to be like a super smooth sealed box, though there is an irregularity in the response about 50 Hz.
The design is based on John Risch's ideas, and Mr. Risch makes it clear that the port does not produce significant output in this post and the replies to it: http://www.audioasylum.com/audio/spe...ges/11476.html Here are John Risch's design ideas for a transmission line: http://www.t-linespeakers.org/design/classic.html |
