focal jmlab subwoofer

I found a focal jmlab subwoofer module at a recyclers,just the amplifier module itself,I got it for $5 and fixed it for all up $30. Trouble is I cant find out anything about it like how big is the box, whats the volume, what kind of speaker would it use and what ohms would it be? the only I.D. on it is (SA 30 D) I have tried head office in france who said they had no reference? but recommended a dealership here in australia that may be able to help me out,so I contacted them and was told the specs for it would cost me $140. So before I throw it back in the bin does any of you gurus know anything about these subs so I can build myself one?

As long as the driver wasn't made for a specific purpose ,such a Feedback servo sensor incorporated ,to work with that amplifier ...I'm sure that it will be capable of driving any type of cabinet . If you decide to go with the original project you'll have also to make a similar cabinet . 140 $ is not that much if it has good specifications ,otherwise choosing a project that suits your needs may be as fun as repairing the amp

Good god man,you cant be serious? $140 is not much for an email with some specs you say? Well I beg to differ. To my mind this smacks of high end hype that's out of control,it seems they are used to dealing with deep pockets and shallow minds and this is the contempt they cant help but display.
