Default Help with aB&W subwoofer

I tripped over the cable to my husband's B&W subwoofer and broke the pin on the unit. Can this be replaced DIY? Are there reputable repair shops in the Buffalo, NY area? HELP!

Hi Joy,

Can you post a picture?

We are likely talking about an RCA connector (on the sub, or on the cable?) or possibly high level speaker connectors. Anyone competent with a screwdriver & soldering iron should be able to fix it, as long as no other damage occurred (if the amp was on the possibility of damage from disconnection of an RCA can cause a transient that can cause damage, in most cases the possibility is probaby slight)

More: B&W have a dealer locator on their website.

It shows at least 3 in Buffalo (there are 4 dealer types to search on), and more in Rochester.

Male RCAs are usually on the cable so i'm a bit confused. Can you post a picture?
