I have some space available and consider building a mono sub horn. The space is 6ft wide and 8ft tall. Depth could be as much as 2ft, but I prefer less. What kind of performance could I expect from a horn of this size?

It's mostly for music and does not have to play very loud. Haven't decided on a budget yet. The room is 7.65m x 4m x 2.5m, and the sub will be placed in the middle of a short wall between the speakers.

you have ~2500litres allocated.
That should be big enough if you have Pi/2 or Pi loading for lowish bass. The Labhorn and the Westminster are both ~600litres.

Any suggestions for a driver that would work in such a project?
