Thanks for your reply! Sorry by mini I mean 1 sub 2 mid tops (to start). Realise these are not small cabinets.
I make dubstep so and this rig is primarily for studio use + the occasional small party so happy to sacrifice some spl for that 30hz extension.
Are there any other mid / cheap drivers that would work well in this design?
Thanks again!

Sorry was actually this 6 fold design I was referring to. Noting @Xoc1 used 18TbX100s with the compression plate.I have something that i collected in my stash of SUB plans
browsing trough all the FT30 thread
it was XOC1 who made something called the 6FOLD TH
basically it was his TH18 but moded to hit 30Hz and no cone correction
just plain folding AKA. the SS15
i can UL the plans if you like
he added a compression plate ( like the CV L36) cause he used the 18TBX100
but i guess you can remove it for the PD driver
and btw, the PD 1845.n2 sims great !
Does anyone have cnc files for this design with bracing in metric?
Would be greatly appreciated. I don’t have the skills or tools to cut those mitres manually. Thanks all!
I suggest you make a new thread and call it something like
Paging XOC1 6 fold plan compression plate
Then you ask about it
It is not clear to me who built it
Or if somebody can help with
What you need.
Kind regards.

Thanks man. Have been back through this thread and think I’m gonna make the FT30 that crescendo made as it’s tried and tested and cnc files available. It doesn’t look like anyone made the xoc1 6fold version.
I don’t suppose anyone has the cnc files in metric? Not sure if that’s something that can be converted by the cnc place in the software?
Also - someone suggested the B&C 18TBW100 sim’d well and I can get that for £275 which is ok. Will I need to make any adjustments to fit that driver?
Sorry for the noob questions. Just don’t want to get this wrong! I can’t believe more people haven’t made this cab. I been searching for a genuine 30hz design for ages. Thought paraflex was the answer until you see the spl graphs. I have REW and mic so happy to post results once built in case anyone else finds that helpful for a single cab.
Huge thanks for your help! 🤓

Anytime amigo, we will be looking for those building pics and audio graphs once you fire the beast up.
similar but not equal cut out hole size measurement.
on the B&C web site the specs for the 18TBW100 baffle hole is:
Baffle Cutout Diameter
18SW115 shows an identical cut hole size.
you can get that driver 😀
you only need to make sure the baffle hole fits your choice of driver you will be using, remember that each driver haveWill I need to make any adjustments to fit that driver?

i do not think so, you stick to the plan, the only big difference is the XMAX of the 18SW115 vs the 18TBW100, as long you do not exceed the xmax of the driver or be within spec, you are okWill I need to make any adjustments to fit that driver?
is there a cut list of this ? FT30All 15 panels cut to size with bevels. Next up jigsaw work and then assembly!
the STL and DWG files posted here are not the cut sheet,
so you do not have the width of all of the interior panels
the bracing stl is great! for CNC but , how do you CNC the rest of the panels
@maxolini as luck would have it I am working on creating some cut sheets now with a CAD guy from Ffiver. Will share here when complete and verified. In the meantime I wonder if you would cast an eye over this 3d model he has prepared for me based on the original plans? Epa said in post 773 the cab was 61cm wide external so I have based on that. I think this is right but grateful if you could take a quick look?

Indeed 610mm outside width (24 inches )Epa said in post 773 the cab was 61cm wide external so I have based on that. I think this is right but grateful if you could take a quick look?
i looked at your posted PDF
and ply must be 18mm not 12mm
did the CAD guy draw the braces from the pic EPA uploaded ?
i uploaded both .stl files (bracing and internal layout )
if the CAD guy need em to save some time.

Sorry I can’t reply to your messages for some reason. Thanks for your speedy reply and for checking the drawing!
I thought the same but the 12mm measurement is to the corner which has a 6mm rebate to take the back panel. The dotted line is the inside face of the 18mm ply internally so it’s 574mm internal width.
Yes I have stl files for the bracing thanks. I’ve asked him to redo in cad with just bracing for the one cab I’m building. Il give him the nod to prepare the cut sheets. Thanks for you help. One step closer to saw dust! 😃

in case you need em... check the RAR file ( this forum wont let you upload DWG files )Thanks for you help. One step closer to saw dust! 😃
inside are the DWG files of the FT30
one is the layout... the other is the bracing and a 3rd one that have a like a 3d projection, i cant know for sure as i cant see it
well in freecad.
just take a peek at those files
maybe the CAD guy can interpret the 3D view
