Question Sub Enclo for 8"

Any one have an enclosure design subwoofer with one 8". Sorry no more size, I dont have enough space in my room. That can be a front or down firing. Friends, you can suggest any thing you feel suitable.

I was thinking for a down firing bandpass sub. But confused, which one can be the best option.

THANKS

I would go for a front firing and stay away from bandpass unless you know that's what you want. Always sounded unnatural to me. Sealed or ported, or if you can, build something funky like a tapped horn. Check out the Tang Band 740 over at Parts Express. Good little workhorse.
